Chameleon

Why does this woman wear makeup? To go out? To seduce?

The hematoma on his arm informs us. She made up her face with a thick makeup to hide the marks left by the blows.

Once again, he apologized. Once again, she accepted the flowers that he offered.

Like the chameleon, she disguises the truth in the eyes of the world.

But if the chameleon wears makeup, it does it to escape the predators.

By agreeing to hide the truth, by refusing to denounce the violence she endures, this woman opens the way for the predator who strikes her.

The road, however, invites her to leave, but she makes the wrong choice, and advances towards her death.
